Mom's Brownie Pudding Recipe

It's like a brownie in chocolate sauce. Somehow it stays separated while cooking. My mom used to make this all the time and my sister has spent the last 2 months searching for the recipe, as Mom used to make it from memory. She sent me this note on Facebook earlier today.

Quote:I have been craving this since Mom died and could not find the recipe. Anywhere. Not even in Mom's very well loved Joy of Cooking which has so many recipes scrawled on the front ...

Mulligatawny Soup

Mulligatawny--literally, "Pepper Water"--is a substantial and deliciously complex meal in itself. At the same time it poses its own mystery since soup is not a significant part of traditional Indian cuisine. Rumor has it that the English adapted a traditional spiced pea and lentil Indian peasant dish to suit their own love of soup...and called it Indian. Serve this one hot--and with a lot of showmanship--to 4-6 people.
