hi texasgal i dont know if you want recpes for mulled wine but here are two that i have

1 bottle red wine
60g/2oz brown sugar
1 cinnamon stick
grated nutmeg
1 orange, halved
1 dried bay leaf

Method
1. Put the wine in a saucepan with the orange, sugar, bayleaf and the spices.
2. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved. Taste to see if you want the wine sweeter, and add more sugar to taste.
3. Off the heat,
4. Strain into heatproof glasses and serve at once.

or

1 ½ ltr red wine
3 oranges, one whole the other 2 quartered
15 cloves
1 lemon cut into slices
6 tbsp of sugar or honey
3 inch piece of cinnamon stick
2 inch piece of ginger, peeled and cut in half
55 g sultanas

method

Take the whole orange and push the cloves into it, Spread them evenly around the orange.
and Place into the saucepan along with the orange segments, the lemon slices , the ginger, cinnamon, sultanas and pour over the wine.

Place the saucepan on a medium heat. Add the sugar to the wine. Give it a good stir . Leave the wine to warm to just under a simmer, Stir well again. An important tip: Don't let it boil or the alcohol with evaporate. Allow the flavours to infuse for twenty minutes. After this time remove from the heat.and allow to cool a little
Strain and pour into heat proof glasses
or
place all the fruit, the sultanas, ginger and cinnamon into a punch bowl.Pour the wine into the bowl, onto the fruit. and when cooled a little serve in heat proof glasses
